Take a chance. It is not always about the perspective!

Are you feeling lost?

Do you want to take a different path, but many you know are saying you mustn’t?

Are you self-doubting yourself because of it?

If so make sure you remember -

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth!"

Many I know, including me, have rerouted their life journey as they rediscover themselves.

If you check out by qualification, I am a B.Tech engineer specialized in Biotechnology. When I started my engineering journey little did I know by the end of my six months’ internship after my final exam I would change the course of my career?

It was difficult for my parents to understand why did I not continue just like my friends did, with a marketing job in a company related to biotechnology. It’s been more than five years, and still, they have not got the hold of it.

Even running two of my own ventures, and starting to explore the writer inside me, it is not enough. My mother sometimes still suggests me to take up any job I am offered to be on the safer side.

Though I strongly believe ‘Life is all about taking chances.’

Have you ever wondered how our lives would be if as babies we never had rolled over for the first time or had never crawled? Stages of walking, rolling over, crawling, trying to stand up, and then walk are never taught to us, we start it by ourselves.

Likewise, we need to fall to pick ourselves up and bring our dreams to reality. I am not suggesting to dive into the sea when you have not learned to swim.

Calculate your risk, plan and execute! Convert your dreams into reality by planning short and long term goals, because it is not only about dreaming, always remember - Dreams don’t work until you do!

It’s your actions taken which sets you apart from the wishers.

Don’t just be a wisher; the starting point may be Desire, but once you start a journey standing still doesn’t work, one needs to take steps ahead.

Others may doubt you, but that it’s their perspective, you focus on yours. Develop the negative of your life’s photograph in the darkness of endeavor. Even when your logical brain influenced by others near you make you dream up a million reasons why you should stay “safe” where you are. I think it is the most dangerous place to be.

On your journey when the going gets tough, own it! If you get rejected from something good, keep in mind ‘it often means you’re being redirected to something better’ and work things out.

It is all about being patient & positive. Even though your pace may be slow, you will be getting ahead. Like we say,

“It’s funny how day by day, nothing changes but when you look back everything is different.”

What do you say? Have you ever chased your dream or are you on the journey?

If so share your story who knows it may inspire someone to chase theirs! Or are you stuck in turmoil?
