Book Talk: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

This book is not what you would think it is. It’s fabulous, disturbing at times, and profoundly moving.

This novel is captivating from the get-go. After reading the title, you will immediately think of Elizabeth Taylor, but it’s not what you would think. The character of Evelyn Hugo is so beautifully created, fractured, flawed, yet profoundly wise. The author, Taylor Jenkins Reid has done a beautiful job at creating this character.
