Rough Around The Edges Meets Refined (Meet Your Match #2) by Rachael Anderson
Genre: Contemporary | Romance | Chick Lit

I stumbled upon Rachael’s book via Audible (a subsidiary of Amazon), where I read the first in the series of Meet Your Match - Prejudice Meets Pride narrated by Laura Princiotta. It was a simple read. So is this one. Rough around the edges meets refined is a clean romance that sucks you into the story.
Although this is can be read as a stand-alone, but if you read Prejudice Meets Pride first, the story will have more depth as you’ll know the characters much better.
The story starts well and you can very well predict what is to happen. The only real struggle is that a lot of time is spent stating why the two characters, Cassie, and Noah, can’t move on with their life as far as the relationship goes. And too much time is spent why Cassie can not make up her mind. Which is all okay but when you know that they will end up together you would want to see more of a problem. There is where the story falls short.
Having said that, this still is a good story though I liked the first one better. It still engaged me enough that I want to read the next one in the series.
My rating is 3.5 stars.
**I don’t give books rating below 3 (at least not as yet), because it takes a lot to write and sometimes it may not connect with me but the effort is definitely appreciated. **
