Overcoming the Fear of Failure

At one point or another, we all find ourselves wanting to do something new, something different in life. Often that desire is accompanied by the fear of failure.

It should not come to you as a surprise when I say that you are not alone if you have this fear of failure.

It means that at the center of it all, you want something to change for the good which will allow you to become better and grow in the field you choose and as an individual.

If you carefully examine fear, you'll find that it truly is instructive and directive. That is not to say that you will not stumble or even fall a few times or that things will not get harder or you will not want to quit.

All these will happen so it is important to have some checks and balances in place that would help you in those times.

One of the most important thing that you can do is to connect with the WHY behind your action. I often talk about this and firmly believe that the more emotionally attached you are to the WHY higher are the chances for you to face your fear bravely. And really, the only way you can fail is if you stop trying. Whatever you set out to achieve you would either achieve it or learn from it. So, there is no chance of failure really.

I would love to hear from you about what are some of the ways you handle the fear of failure. So leave me a comment below and let's get this conversation started.
